Shalom Hartman Institute Announces 2013 Summer Accommodations

Discount rates for program participants are available four Jerusalem hotels

As you plan for your visit to Jerusalem this summer, here is information on where to stay while participating in Shalom Hartman Institute programs.
 
Shalom Hartman Institute has reserved rooms for program participants at a discounted rate at four Jerusalem hotels. All are within walking distance of the Institute. Please click on their websites to learn more about each hotel. Please note there are a limited amount of rooms at all of the hotels and some do not have availability at all times. Rooms will be allocated on a first come first serve basis so please make your reservations as soon as possible.
 
To make a reservation at the Inbal, Prima Royale or Mishekenot Sha’ananim, please contact Marlene Houri with your request, including arrival and departure dates, single or double occupancy and type of room. Payment will be made directly to the hotel upon departure.
 
To make a reservation at the Mount Zion Hotel, contact the hotel directly and tell them you are from Hartman.
 
Please note: These rates are valid only for Hartman program participants and their families and only when booked by the Hartman Institute. Participants with Israeli citizenship will be asked to a pay VAT at the Inbal, Mount Zion, and Prima Royale, as required by law.

Superior room (new city view): single $300, double $320 
Superior room (old city view): single $340, double $360
Executive room: single $370, double $390
Rates include: free wi-fi, free parking and use of the pool, fitness center & sauna and 10 percent discount on spa treatments. Guests staying in the Executive Rooms are welcome to use the Executive Lounge located on the 9th floor including refreshments and light meals served all day and a dedicated check-in desk. Reservations will be accepted, based on availability, until April 15, 2013.
 
Yemin Moshe
 
Overlooking the old city, this is a small inn-like hotel in an historical building with a unique Jerusalem atmosphere. It usually houses artists, intellectuals and academics.
Shalom Hartman Institute rates per night, bed & breakfast:
Suite: single $170, each additional person $30
Room: single $140, each additional person $30
All rooms and suites have a complimentary coffee/tea maker. Suites include bedroom, living room or gallery and bathroom. Some have a kitchenette. All suites have a door leading to a common balcony looking out onto the old city. Rooms do not have a balcony or view of Old City. Please note: accommodations at Mishkenot are available from June 23-July 3, 2013. Other dates will be considered on an individual basis. Reservations will be accepted until February 28, 2013.

Cancellation Policy
Inbal Jerusalem Hotel
Upon reservation your credit card number will be submitted to the hotel.  On May 19th it will be charged for a one night non-refundable fee.
In the event of a cancelation less than 48 hours in advance or of a no-show two nights will be charged.
Mishkenot Sha’ananim
No cancellation fee up to 14 days prior to arrival
Cancellations less than 14 days before arrival will be charged the full price. 
Prima Royal Hotel
No cancellation fee up to 3 weeks prior to arrival
From 3 weeks prior to arrival, 20% cancellation fee
