I`m with you
I love what you say. I love Jewish tradition’s embrace of discourse, courageously including minority opinions even after the majority opinion has won. Any other approach would suffocate me. Your words challenge me and anchor me. They remind me to be humane. Yet I experience most people as absolutists. Sometimes they paint over their intolerance with a feigned relativist cloud. When they can, they hide from responsibility by playing apathy. Diversity is beautiful between people who tolerate each other. America’s diversity works only as long as there is a majority who live and defend the Constitution. Without that safe space the diversity becomes civil war: Bosnia, Iraq, Lebanon.

Amazing,
extraordinary as usual. I enjoyed very much this reading. Is a real pleasure for me to read all that is written by David Hartman.
