The program is being shown on Shalom TV from June 1 through June 7.  In the interview, titled, "The Meaning of Torah," Rabbi Hartman not only shares some of his own background but explains how the Jewish tradition has never endorsed fundamentalism and how the rabbinic tradition has always rejected a literal reading of Torah.

According to the company, Shalom TV is a mainstream Jewish cable television network in the United States covering Jewish life. Programs on Shalom TV reflect and address the diversity and pluralism of the Jewish experience. The service does not represent a specific Jewish religious movement or community organization.

Shalom TV can be seen as Video on Demand in most major U.S. television markets. Here is a list of how it can be seen:
  • Comcast (39 states): Channel 1 (On Demand), then "TV Entertainment"
  • Metro New York and New Jersey: Time Warner, then "Entertainment On Demand," Channel 1005
  • Los Angeles: Time Warner, Channel 1, then "Lifestyle"
  • Dallas: Time Warner, Channel 1, then "Entertainment"
  • Pennsylvania: Blue Ridge, Channel 1, then "Ethnic"
