RTS 2014 Summary and Photos

This year marked the 28th annual Rabbinical Torah Study Seminar, Shalom Hartman Institute’s longest running sumemr program. Over 120 rabbis and cantors gathered for a week of learning and other activities

The Hartman Institute’s 2014 annual Rabbinic Torah Study Seminar (RTS) ran from June 30-July 10. It is the Institute’s longest-running summer program, marking its 28th year. More than 120 rabbis and cantors from North America, Europe, Latin America, and Israel took part.
 
The topic of this year’s seminar was, "A Time for War, A Time for Peace." Participants enjoyed a jam-packed schedule of learning with Hartman scholars from Israel and North America. In addition to the classes, participants went on day trips across Israel, took advantage of activities such as meditation and yoga, and enjoyed a musical performance by musicians from the Jerusalem Jewish Renewal congregation, Nava Tehila .
