Two Shalom Hartman Institute curricula have been approved by the Israeli Ministry of Education as official school textbooks, while one more is pending approval. The Jewish Values through the Holidays curriculum will replace the current curriculum being taught in government funded schools.

As requested by the Education Ministry, a new and improved version of the curriculum, including additional chapters, is being revised.

The Individual and Society curriculum has also been approved by the ministry as the official text for Oral Torah classes, and will be updated in time for printing this summer, along with the Toward the Bar Mitzvah Year and the Prayer Book curricula. A total of 20,000 copies of The Individual and Society textbook will be distributed in schools across the country.

In addition, the Circles of Belonging curriculum has been submitted for official approval, which is expected to be issued before the next school year.
