For the third time in six years, the Shalom Hartman Institute of North America has been named one of North America’s top innovative Jewish organizations in the annual Slingshot Guide, a go-to resource for volunteers, activists and donors looking for new opportunities and projects that ensure the Jewish community remains relevant and thriving.
The Slingshot Guide recognized SHI North America’s research and educational project, Created Equal: Men, Women and the Ethics of Shared Leadership, for “working to understand how gender influences the broader narrative of Jewish life and seeking to transform the way the Jewish community operates around these issues."
Organizations included in this year’s guide, selected from among hundreds of finalists, were evaluated on their innovative approach as well as impact of their work, leadership in their sector, and effectiveness at achieving results.
“We are incredibly proud to be selected once again for the Guide, especially because our previous listings were for entirely different projects: first for our unique program delivery approach, and subsequently for the iEngage Project ," said Yehuda Kurtzer, President of Shalom Hartman Institute of North America.
