This week, 140 students and Hillel staff members from 15 different campuses across North America arrived at the Shalom Hartman Institute in Jerusalem for a week of study and engagement 

University Students Connect to Israel at Hartman Institute Seminar

This week, 140 university students and Hillel staff members arrived at the Shalom Hartman Institute in Israel from 15 campuses across North America. The young students  will take part in a week-liong  seminar based on the iEngage Project and will focus on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, as well as on the various narratives.

The pictures below depict a day-long tour of the Old City of Jerusalem, from the Temple Mount to the Davidson Archaeological Garden near the entrance to the Western Wall.

Twelve Hillel professionals arrived with the students. They will study a separate seminar on Jewish Peoplehood and the "tribes" of today’s Israel and Jewish people.

Among the lecturers who will appear before the students and staff: Donniel Hartman, Yehuda Kurtzer, Mijal Bitton, Tal Becker, and Renana Ravitzky Pilzer.
