Shalom Hartman Institute will be one of the Jerusalem centers offering programs during Gateways, a festival of Jewish learning and culture that draws together secular, traditional and religious to celebrate Jewish learning and culture

Once again, during the week of Sukkot, Shalom Hartman Institute will be one of the Jerusalem centers offering programs during "Gateways," a festival of Jewish learning and culture that draws together secular, traditional and religious to celebrate Jewish learning and culture and acknowledge and build Jerusalem as the center of Jewish openness and tolerance. Gateways Sukkot Learning Festival, Jerusalem, Israel, with participating of Shalom Hartman Institute

According to the festival’s program: "In antiquity, Jews from across the world gathered in Jerusalem each Sukkot. We renew that tradition through this special festival of learning and culture."

All study sessions, tours, and programs, in both English and Hebrew, are free and reflect a variety of approaches to text, history, current affairs, and more. The festival also is offering Jewish cultural performances. Visit the Gateways website for a complete listing of events.
