Shalom Hartman Institute announces two additional lectures by Rabbi Professor David Hartman in the spring 2008 Lindenbaum-Pomrenze Lecture Series, on the topic: "Morality Confronts the Halakhic Tradition: Rethinking the Traditional Perspective on Women, Converts and the non-Jew."
The lectures will take place March 24 and April 7, both at 8 p.m., at the Hartman Institute, 11 Gedalyahu Alon St., in Jerusalem’s German Colony. Admission is NIS 20, NIS 10 for students. For further information, contact Brenda Yagod , or call 02-567-5337.
The lecture series is a semi-annual set of talks. The first part of the winter session concluded March 10, with a lecture on the topic, "Faith & Moral Responsibility: The Dignity of the Other in the Jewish Tradition."
