Shalom Hartman Institute invites the public to the Robert Kogod Annual Lecture, June 22, 2010. This year’s topic is “The State of Israel – What It Means to be Sovereign,” and the lecture will be delivered by Prof. Michael Walzer of the Institute for Advanced Studies, Princeton, N.J., with respondents Rabbi Prof. David Hartman, Shalom Hartman Institute, and Prof. David Luban, Georgetown University Law Center. The lecture will take place at 8:00 PM at the Institute, 11 Gedalyahu Alon St, Jerusalem. Entry is free.
 
The 2009 Robert Kogod Annual Lecture was titled, "Role of Religion in the Public Space, Israeli and American Perspectives."
