New Programs for Community Leaders in North America

Programs in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Toronto, South Florida, and New York

Shalom Hartman Institute of North America is now running courses for community leaders in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Toronto, South Florida, and New York, with more to follow in Washington, DC.

The Community Leadership Programs match visiting Hartman faculty with select leadership cohorts for intensive study. Groups are studying the following topics: "Engaging Israel: Foundations for a New Relationship," "Insiders & Outsiders," and "Judaism and the Challenges of Modern Life."

In addition to select groups convened by the Shalom Hartman Institute of North America, we are pleased to be partnering with the following agencies this year:
  • Jewish Community Federation of San Francisco, Peninsula, Marin and Sonoma Counties
  • Jewish Family and Children’s Services of San Francisco, Peninsula, Marin and Sonoma Counties
  • Contemporary Jewish Museum, San Francisco
  • UJA Federation of Greater Toronto
  • The Lola Stein Institute, Toronto
  • Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County
  • State of Israel Bonds, Miami-Dade
  • Center for Advancement of Jewish Education, Miami
