As you plan for your visit to Jerusalem this summer, here is information on where to stay while participating in Shalom Hartman Institute programs.
 
Shalom Hartman Institute has reserved rooms for program participants at a discounted rate at several Jerusalem hotels. All are within walking distance of the Institute. Please click on their websites to learn more about each hotel. Please note there are a limited amount of rooms at all of the hotels and some do not have availability at all times. Rooms will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, so please make your reservations as soon as possible.

Shalom Hartman Institute rates per night, B&B:
Superior room (new city view): single $290, double $310
Superior room (old city view): single $330, double $350 
Executive room*: single $350, double $370
 
Rates include: free WIFI, free parking and use of the pool, fitness center & sauna and 10% discount on spa treatments.
 
*Guests staying in the Executive Rooms are welcome to use the Executive Lounge located on the ninth floor, including refreshments and light meals served all day and a dedicated check-in desk.  
 
Reservations will be accepted, based on availability, until April 20, 2012.

Shalom Hartman Institute rates, per night B&B: single $230, double $255
 
Rates include: Free entrance to the business lounge which has free internet, free parking, free use of the swimming pool and gym, 10% discount on food & beverages and laundry service.
 
Please note: rooms are available only from July 2-12. Reservations will be accepted until May 1, 2012
 
Yemin Moshe
 
Overlooking the old city, this is a small inn-like hotel in an historical building with a unique Jerusalem atmosphere. It usually houses artists, intellectuals, and academics.
 
All rooms and suites have a complimentary coffee/tea maker. Suites include bedroom, living room or gallery and bathroom. Some have a kitchenette. All suites have a door leading to a common balcony looking out onto the old city. Rooms do not have a balcony or view of old city.
 
Please note: accommodations at Mishkenot are available only from June 26-July 4.
 
Reservations will be accepted until February 29, 2012. To hear about out special Hartman rates and to make a reservation please contact Marlene Houri.

  • Room: single $125, double $140
  • Jr. suite: $175, double $190
Reservations will be accepted until May 31, 2012.
 
To make a reservation at any of these hotels, please contact Marlene Houri with your request, including arrival and departure dates, single or double room and in the case of the Inbal and Mishekenot, type of room. Payment will be made directly to the hotel upon departure.
 
Please note: These rates are valid only for Hartman program participants and their families and only when booked by the Hartman Institute.

Cancellation Policies
 
Inbal Jerusalem Hotel
No cancellation fee up to 30 days prior to arrival.  30 days prior to arrival the hotel will charge your credit card with one night, non-refundable fee.  In the event of a cancelation less than 48 hours in advance or of a no-show two nights will be charged.
 
Leonardo Plaza
No cancellation fee up to one week before arrival.  Cancellations less than 7 days in advance – one night cancellation fee.
 
Mishkenot Sha’ananim
No cancellation fee up to 14 days prior to arrival.  Cancellations less than 14 days before arrival will be charged a full price. 
 
Prima Royale Hotel
No cancellation fee up to 3 weeks prior to arrival.  From 3 weeks prior to arrival, 20% cancellation fee.
